Everybody gets hyped up and hopes are high. Then after a while the whole thing becomes jaded and we all start to doubt on the success of the project. This is known as the Halo Effect. It happens everywhere. In friendship, marriage and business partnerships even. The ability to maintain a clear sight of where we are going is important. Otherwise it becomes hangat-hangat tahi ayam (as warm as chicken droppings).
This is where mental toughness comes in. We need to stay committed like in a marriage or a partnership. There must be maturity of thoughts and emotions for us to carry through.
