I read it before but I think this guy is too much into himself. The dude is overladen with testosterone.
But since Els recommended it so much I decided to reread it again. This time I managed to pass Chapter One. I guess I can continue reading. Certainly it is pretty entertaining.
These are the three premises he proposed:
Subtlety #1
Not giving a fuck does not mean being indifferent; it means being comfortable with being different.
Subtlety #2
To not give a fuck about adversity, you must first give a fuck about something more important than adversity.
Subtlety #3
Whether you realize it or not, you are always choosing what to give a fuck about.
I like the first premise. Not too sure I agree with the other two.
I just cover Chapter One. So I keep an open mind.
-----------------
In a way, I had always been a person who don't give a fuck. This is classic case of us trying to fuse [] (in) another person's values into our values. Not too sure if I want to fuse in his values into mine. Still I am looking for some worthwhile lessons that I can take away.
So far, based on those examples he gave, none really apply to me. He made it sound that if you give a fuck, you become an erratic psychopath.
I look at the book as a folly and not to be taken seriously; sort of a dark humor self help book.
If not because it is Elsie's recommendation, I would have stopped at the first chapter. But in the name of love, I march on. The kind of things we do for love honey LOL

#traxxfm I just started reading the F*ck book. Here is my impression after reading the 1st chapter: 2020blogvol1.blogspot.com/2020/03/9320-i I had a good start with Chapter 2.
#traxxfm Hey Elsie... I only managed to get to Chapter 3. This guy is having some Superiority Complex of some sort. He also had some issue with drugs. I think I stop there. Very disturbing individual.
#traxxfm Bottomline: I'm not going to allow his values influence my beliefs. Pretty fucked up fella in my opinion. I'm better off reading some other books in my collection.
I decided to read Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand instead.
