That's it. I had perfected my collection. No more redundancy. I had removed the weakest link. With the Cyborg now everybody is on an equal footing.
I still say the Mudman is the perfect watch but the Skipper is still my favorite because of the analog/digital feature, the no nonsense military look and the history of being the oldest team member. It reminds me of being o[f] (out) when I was poor and still struggling.
The Admiral is the legacy of the Ball Master Engineer II. It is also my most regal watch. Both the Skipper and the Admiral are the pillars of my operation.
The Cyborg and Garmin 25 also play a vital role as the inspirations to the team. They contribute in motivating me to stay inspired.
The G-Shocks are the work horses here. Without them we cannot have a complete formation. That's why they form the majority of the team.
I cannot think of any reason to extend beyond these Excellent Eight. I looked around for other possible addition and I cannot find any suitable candidate. It cannot get any better than this. I have the winning team. I have it all here.
The weakest team member is Rasta. This is appropriate with his function a[s] (and) price point. I don't have a high expectation of him since he is a Citizen Soldier. Much like the Scientist. To me they are the highly specialized civilians. Therefore I don't mind cutting them some slacks. I wear them when I want to be at ease. Still as Civilian Soldiers, their function is to support the mission of Vision Quest.
While the G-Shocks act as the backbone of the entire operation, the minds behind the whole set up are Skipper and the Admiral.
They are supported by the Cyborg and Garmin 25. Both provide a moral booster to the team. Of course the muscle men are the Indulgence and the Mudman. Both are necessary for AHAD. I wear them when I am doing some serious business. Especially in the morning.
Now, with the completion of the variations, the Excellent Eight are now a family. I will stick with them until I am old and frail. If I take care of them, I think they can last until the day I die. There is no reason to replace any of them if all they need are battery replacements. In the end I expect only the Cyborg and the Scientist to survive. That is sufficient enough for me 15 years down the line.
When I die, nobody is going to use[s] my watches anyway. Like Al Araf 7:7, they will die when I die. It is easy now to think that my watches are complete. All I need to do is think about Al Araf 7:7 They are already complete.
While waiting for Cyborg (I really like that name) to arrive, I need to consolidate my team. They are really the Spinmaster and the Eight Swordsmen with Star Wars Dress Watch (SWDW) being the Spinmaster. Hence, this is now a military operation. I should put the emphasis of being thin (losing 30 kg) and being far (running the 21 km Hill Run). Forget about being fast for a while. Focus on increasing the mileage.
I realized that the best approach is treating my whole life like a military operation with the emphasis that we are seamen. Then the model clicks. Then I can relate well to Al Araf 7:7 and Sailbad the Sinner. Damn right I am still dead serious about KBOOM 2041. Even if now believing I am God is an outright lie, I firmly belief I am a very special person when comes to the progression of my worthy ideals. In this case, to be a Man Fully Functioning, a runner.
I may not be running much but in my mind, on daily basis, I am now thinking that I am an onset adult runner. Of course before I can run I got to walk first. I got to overcome inertia to build momentum. That's what I am doing in my mind. I am chiseling the marble every day until I can produce the Statute of David.
Sarah, you can call me whatever you like. As far as I am concerned, this is my li[k]e (life), this is my blog and this is how I want to live my life for the next 15 years. I am subtracting to the minimum to just me and my Tetrahedron so that I can stay focused and committed to my Personal Flight Path.
No more will I think about TraXX, HOTS and the Flight Path. I want to be in solitude pursuing my worthy ideals.
